- What type of housing do you have? We offer several housing options to suit different needs and preferences:
- Independent Living (life lease): Four buildings available by life lease
- Independent Living (rental): One building available by monthly rental
- Independent Plus (rental): One building available by monthly rental
- What’s the difference between Independent Living and Independent Plus? Independent Living is ideal for those who enjoy living independently and are still comfortable cooking and managing daily routines on their own. Independent Plus includes added support and services, such as two meals per day (lunch and dinner), weekly housekeeping, and weekly activities. It’s a good option for those who no longer want to cook or clean and would prefer to spend their time socializing or enjoying hobbies they love.
- What size of suites do you have?
- Independent Living (life lease): 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom + den
- Independent Living (rental): Studio, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom
- Independent Plus: 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom
- What amenities do you have on site? Some of our on-site amenities include:

- What dining options are available? Residents can enjoy a variety of dining experiences on site:
- Alpine Bistro: Serving resident favorites such as locally sourced Chilliwack corn chowder, grilled paninis, and fresh salads.
- Summit Dining Room: Offering an elevated dining experience with refined takes on classic favorites, including seafood, chicken, and steak dinners.
- Chehalis Café & Lounge: Ideal for morning coffee with a fresh pastry or a classic eggs-and-bacon breakfast, all prepared on site.
- Do you have care on site? Yes. We have an on-site Home Care team that can provide services to residents in both Independent Living and Independent Plus, should additional support be needed.
- What is a life lease? A life lease is a long-term, pre-paid rental option. At Elim Village, residents prepay a 29-year lease for the use and enjoyment of their home. A life lease offers long-term stability and peace of mind, with a pre-determined payout when the lease is terminated. Elim purchases the life lease back directly, eliminating the need for a realtor and avoiding associated fees.
