My latest (and GREATEST!!!) find happened recently when I found a Brother digital sewing machine for 50$! Even though it was untested (and worked!), it still felt like a great deal. - What items does Thrifty Boutique accept? We gratefully accept gently used items that are clean and in good condition, including:
- Clothing, shoes, and accessories
- Small household items and décor
- Books
- Kitchenware
- Toys and games
- Small electronics
- Seasonal items
- What items are not accepted? For safety and space reasons, we cannot accept:
- Large furniture or appliances
- Mattresses or box springs
- Used pillows or bedding
- Car seats, cribs, or baby equipment that may not meet safety standards
- Open cosmetics or personal care products
- Hazardous materials or chemicals
- Do you offer textile recycling? Yes. Thrifty Boutique offers textile recycling for items that cannot be resold in our store. This helps divert textiles from landfills while supporting our charitable programs.
- How should textile recycling donations be packaged? To help our volunteers sort materials safely and efficiently:
- Place textiles in securely tied garbage bags or sealed bags
- Clearly label the bag “TEXTILE RECYCLING” if the items are not suitable for resale
- Ensure items are dry and free from mold
- Do you offer special discounts or savings days? Yes! There are several ways to save at Thrifty Boutique:
- Seniors Day – Mondays: Seniors receive 20% off their purchase.
- Student Day – Thursdays: Students receive 20% off with valid student ID.
- Monthly Clothing Sale – Every 15th: Enjoy 50% off all clothing.
- VIP Elite Double Discount Day – Every 25th: VIP Elite members receive double their usual discount.
